New Book: TL;DR: Financial Literacy for Employees of Washington Public Schools

I Just wanted to share my latest book (along with co-author Adam Skarr), this one for Washington (state) educators, focusing on financial literacy and making the most of their Washington TRS pension benefits.

Please consider sharing with any educators you know in the state of Washington.

This is the latest in the TL;DR Financial Literacy series. If you know educators in the following states and pension plans, or a young adult for the standalone young adult book, please consider sharing the appropriate book with them as well. And, if you happen to know a superintendent, school board member, principal, or union leader, you might suggest that this would make a great, inexpensive, possibly life-changing gift for new teachers.

Young Adults

Colorado (PERA)

Illinois (TRS)

Iowa (IPERS)

Maine (MainePERS)

Nebraska (NPERS)

Ohio (STRS)

Pennsylvania (PSERS)

Virginia (VRS)

Wyoming (WRS)

Washington (TRS)

I’m also currently working with co-authors on three more: Oregon (PERS), Missouri (PSRS/PEERS), and New York State (NYSTRS). They will hopefully all come out in the next few months.

After that, I have co-authors interested in New York City (TRSNYC), New Jersey (PERS), Massachusetts (MTRS), Arizona (ASRS), Minnesota (TRA), and Indiana (INPRS). Those will be coming out as I and my various co-authors can get to them, hopefully over the next 3-12 months. If you know of any educators in a state not listed who might be interested in being a co-author for their state’s book, please have them complete this google form (or contact me directly).
